Hope you're enjoying this warm and beautiful week.♥ Last Thursday, at the prof, we gave a closure to First Language Acquisition and we started working on Second Language Acquisition. As we have learned, the acquisition of a first language is an unconscious, homogeneous and universal process for everyone but this doesn't apply for the acquisition of a second one. It is also important to distinguish between these two meaningful concepts: Acquisition and Learning. Acquisition refers to an unconscious and natural process with a gradual development whereas Learning is a conscious process which involves accumulation of knowledge.
